Youth For Christ West Cluster will held an Covenant Orientation this upcoming January 21, 2012 at Saint Catherine Academy, Mambusao, Capiz with a registration fee of just Php 25.00 (Pack Lunch not included).
The target participants of this event are all the high-school from SCA and Cuartero who haven’t yet undergo CO, based on a pre-monitoring conducted in the West Cluster, most high-school had not yet taken the CO though they had been a service team in some Youth Camp.
In order to serve in Camp, a member must a YFC which undergone youth camp, covenant orientation and youth camp training. This is to avoid any incidents that may occur during the camp due to lack of training and orientation to the service team.
The covenant orientation is the second step for a yfc to graduate to its 1st year Pastoral Formation Track, the yfc must attain the 3 years pastoral formation track in order to be best leaders that may lead the community to a better way.
WHAT IS COVENANT ORIENTATION?
As a member of this community a YFC must undergo this track. This is because the CO is an activity in which the members are being introduce to what are the responsibilities that a YFC is holding. There will be 4 talk to be undergone preferably a whole day activity in this stage where the members avail their ID’s that signifies their conviction and identity as a YFC.
